Election News: Voter turnout was outstanding! We had 2153 cast ballots; which is approximately 77% of our total registered voters, that number tops the last presidential election in 2012. Approximately 570 of those were done by Absentee Voting which means we had almost 1600 voters come through the polling location on Election Day! We also had a lot of new voters registering. Results of our town vote can be found on our website, www.warrenmaine.org
HUGE THANKS go out to Doug, Joe, Chucky and George for helping to set up and breakdown our polling location. To Sherry, Linda, Bill and Mel for holding it all together at the office. But most especially to my Election Day workers, John Crabtree, Angela Field, Aleta Mank, Evelyn Anderson, Ike Johnson, Sandra Overlock, Janice Overlock, Ed Courtenay, Mitch Kihn, Barrie Brusila and Kathy Swan!!!!! I could not have done this without you ALL!!!! You are an AMAZING TEAM!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart – Melissa
